Wouldn’t loyalty include “submission of will and
intellect” to the teachings of the Holy Father? I wonder if a cancer that
decided to stay and grow within the body instead of leaving it, would it also be
considered loyal? I don’t quite understand how you could have theological
evidence for this doctrine in the early church, if you had evidence wouldn’t it
be historical and ultimately Apostolic Tradition?
