Via Father Stephanos is this cool story on the recollections of the Pope’s former housekeeper, Sister Agapita. I especially liked the following:
[When Pope John Paul II was shot, Cardinal Ratzinger immediately] gathered all of us around to say the rosary together with him for the Pope’s recovery. I thought it was really significant that he had asked his staff to join him in prayer, fostering among us the feeling of community and union.

When I was living in the Czech Republic, I used to play the board game “Clovece, ne zlob se” (Man, don’t get mad). I have a feeling it’s the same game as the Pope an Sister Agapita played “Mensch aergere Dich nicht”. Of course, it’s well known in America as “Sorry”.
