Yeah – pretty bad – almost as silly as the column written by the Archbishop and all his auxiliary bishops.: “we are addressing this message first of all to the homosexual members of our Church…we want to reassure each of you that you are cherished members of the Catholic Church, and that we value you as equal and active members of the Body of Christ.” etc.

Sadly, many diocesan newspapers fall very short of their obligations and purposes as set forth by Vatican II’s decree on communications (Inter Mirifica).
Yes, the answer to that question is that this archdiocese is heretical and has gone a long way to perverting the faith in these years.
2011…get here quick. May God raise up a saint/martyr to begin to clean up the mess and restore the true teachings of the faith.
Plus persons of a certain persuation will promote others of the same persuation…
Is it really impossible for the Pope to just “fire” a bishop? I think the USA needs a solid, papal-appointed commissar to go around sacking those who espouse or mollycoddle heresy.
Surely it’s not due to the shortage of priests? If we acted like we had some stones, I bet there wouldn’t be a shortage.
