According to the media and other partisan liberals…
President Clinton committing adultery and having sex with an intern – Media says move along. Presidential Candidate John Edwards committing adultery while his wife has cancer – Media says move along. Sarah Palin’s 17 year old daughter committing fornic…
let’s not forget all the allegations of misconduct against President Clinton which the MSM totally ignored (the most egregious of which was the rape of Juanita Broadrick, which Clinton has never denied.)
And let’s not forget Clarence Thomas, which some members of the MSM should be disqualified from being a Supreme Court Justice simply because of the “seriousness of the charge” against him.
Did you expect the media to behave any differently?
Please read in the InsideCatholic, these posts on the Catholic media responsibility, focusing the Palin VS the Biden-Pelosi “Popes” scandal:
Take responsibility

Congrats for pointing out something clamorous: the urgent need for the USCCB to speak out OFFICIALLY.
Reading some comments in CatholicsagainstBiden, I was shocked by some defending the USCCB creepy silence since Kerry’s public sacrilege, on these grounds: dozens of senators and representatives “pro-abortions Catholics” (sic), would have to leave.
I was too furious to continue reading. GOOD RIDDANCE!!! I felt.
But the point is USCCB silence. Nobody even asks what situation we would have now, if they enforced the Canon 915 on those culprits YEARS AGO?
Nobody demands them publicly, to take responsibility? The Catholic League, for instance?

It’s About Time…

Guillermo,
I agree with you 100% that if the USCCB had spoken out years ago against those so-called Catholic politicans using the church for votes and power, we wouldn’t be in the situation we are in to-day! At my local parish there is NEVER any preaching from the pulpit on the santity of life. Instead, all we get is a small paragraph inserted into our sunday leaflet urging us “to respect life”. For abortion to be a “most heinous crime against God & humanity” as the Bishops have said repeatedly, how come there is virtually NO preaching DONE from the pulpit! I feel the Bishops have a lot to answer to God for their abdication of responsibility!

Thank you Bridget:
Responsibility is now, push on “serve them the papers” (in USA language) to the USCCB and the lawmakers.
That’s the whole point.
If not, we WILL lack any moral authority to preach on the pro-life side. Just compare high profile Biden-Pelosi “Popes” on Church doctrine, with a decent Protestant like Palin.
Is not saying “Lord, Lord”, but the deeds, what count.

Do be fair the media drags out any sex scandal regardless of party affiliation. Sex sells papers and magazines. It’ll come up again over the next few weeks, just to point out contradictions in campaign rhetoric, but the media will move along once the next thung comes up. It’s only been in the news for a day now, the edwards thing lasted at least 3 weeks, the clinton thing years
Kestin:
Right, sex sells. And sacrilege globally view in TV on the Papal Mass in the U.S. is banal.
NOT so for us, foreign Catholics.
If the USA Catholic media does not re-focus this BLATANT issue, we will keep this scandal helping … to fuel-gas the genocide machine abortion chambers, NOW going on full steam.
Only 14 bishops (from nearly 1000 thousand in USA), have sweared obedience to the Rock-Successor of Christ. That is the condition to be dealt.

Typo: is Peter instead of Christ.
With Clinton:
Yes, move along… but first let me tell you about the blue dress.
*shudder*
The way the media has handled this Palin pick and surrounding news has been VERY telling.
