Father Roderick stated a new podcast called TWiCC (This Week in the Catholic Church) that includes various Catholic podcasters and a Catholic blogger. I just finished listening to it and found it quite upbeat and enjoyable. Julie D of Happy Catholic had a segment where she went over her Surprised by Jesuits post. Though I find it quite annoying that whenever I get to hear the actual voice of a blogger especially one whose blog is a daily visit that I always expect them to sound different. Not that their is something wrong with their voices it is just that mentally you kind of assign a voice to somebody who you read frequently. I would highly suggest subscribing to TWiCC which you can do via this page.

I know what you mean, Jeff. My problem is when I meet a blogger … not yet has one looked the way I imagined.
So where was your “mind’s ear” on voice? Not perky enough? Not sultry enough (as IF)? Not Southern enough? (I knew I should say “y’all” more!

Funny, when I read this post I realized I do “hear” “your” voice in my head. Probably has no relation to how you really sound.
A few years ago I read a blog by man whom I imagined to be a middle-aged opinionated arm-chair professor type, modeling my mental image on several of my uncles. I was then SHOCKED to discover I knew this man in real life. My mental image had to undergo sustantial remodeling.
