Leaders of the media and arts and entertainment industries will
join Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) staff and
volunteers from across the country for the organization’s annual
gala, Planned Parenthood Honors: A Salute to Courage, Integrity,
and Leadership. The evening will feature the PPFA Maggie Awards,
recognizing courage and excellence in covering reproductive rights
and health care issues.
Gloria Feldt, president of Planned Parenthood Federation of
America and author of Behind Every Choice Is a Story, will host the
event. Presenters and honorees include actor Annabeth Gish; actor
and talk show host Cynthia Garrett; television shows Six Feet Under
and Everwood; the film Real Women Have Curves; and the Human Rights
Watch Web site. The evening will conclude with the presentation of
our highest honor, the Margaret Sanger Award, to Jane Fonda, a
passionate advocate for reproductive rights and a leader in the
field of teen pregnancy prevention.

Additionally, PPFA President Gloria Feldt recently
released a statement that said freedom for Iraqi women could only be achieved
if the U.S. Government
provides them with access to contraception and abortion, despite the fact that
both practices are in direct opposition to the Muslim religion. "Planned
Parenthood’s lack of integrity truly knows no bounds! The Iraqi people are
embracing the prospect of real freedom from oppression, yet Planned Parenthood
wants to wage its own war on Iraq’s pre-born children through its dictatorial
regime of abortion and contraception," said Sedlak.

Now let me see if I understand this correctly. If you mention
that you wish a former segregationists was president previously then there
is a major media
outcry, but if you name an award, The Maggie, after the racist eugenics promoter
Margaret "Human
Weeds" Sanger
that’s no problem at all and will be totally ignored. Though Banned Parenthood
honoring people from a show called "Six Fix Under" is ironically appropriate.
If Banned Parenthood gets it’s hands into Iraq they will end up killing more
people than Saddam Hussien could ever manage. The below Medal of Dishonor is
what the "Maggie" should look like.

Is the television show on HBO: “SIX FEET UNDER” pro life? Last night it was! Showing Claire’s baby in Heaven? Who knows.
