After Tim
Drake’s departure from the blogosphere there has been a rippling in the
waters about blogging egomania. Tom
Abbot on some reflection has decided to go cold turkey without Sitemeter or
any other system that measures site activity. To do that same thing I think I
would need the nicotine patch equivalent to pry myself away from Sitemeter or
maybe a kind of blog Dramamine, anyway good luck Tom!.
To blog, or not to blog: that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the
mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of commenting systems and template
errors,
Or to take rants against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing the
culture of death? To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to close our
lidless eyes
I have a feeling this mock Shakespearian quote won’t be mouthed by Barbra
Streisand anytime soon.
