Even the likes of Sen. Charles Schumer is upset that
fellow traveler Nancy Pelosi, the San Francisco Democrat who is House minority
leader, has closed the U.S. Capitol’s only branch of the Library of Congress.
Her reason: to grab more office space for herself.
“The abrupt closing of the congressional reading room and
branch library has caught lawmakers and other patrons off guard, and even the
two librarians who staff the small reading room are still getting used to the
news,” the New York Post reported today.
“They wanted the space for Ms. Pelosi’s interns,” said

It probably contained a copy of the Constitution and she didn’t want that old
thing around.
