Yellow ribbons and all other war memorials have been banned from
public property here, a decision that has drawn criticism from residents and
business owners who want to show their support for American troops fighting
in Iraq.
…"Where would you draw a line if you started allowing
the use of public property to exhibit whatever cause anyone wanted?" Tyler
told The Trentonian of Trenton for Friday’s editions. "Suppose someone
wants to tie pink ribbons, or black flags, or a Confederate flag or a Nazi

Support the troops in Fieldsboro, New Jersey
Just not on any city property
Soldiers are there to keep us free
To protect city council’s inanities
No limit to their stupidity
Alive in New Jersey

Oh don’t tie a yellow ribbon
‘Round a city oak tree
Maybe on private property
Not in the City
If It see a yellow ribbon
‘Round a city oak tree
I’ll load you on a bus, forget about the fuss
Put the cuffs on you
If I see a yellow ribbon
‘Round a city oak tree

I lived in a town right next to Fieldsboro-as a matter of fact children who attended catholic school were bussed in from Fieldsboro to attend school at our parish school.
We have swastikas painted on out front door. We called the police and they didn’t even bat an eye. They just said “oh, you know how it goes. Probably just some kids…”
So the Yellow ribbon is the same thing as a Nazi Flag. Surprising that someone has not demanded that they pull down the American Flag from public property, as it may offend some flag burning anti-war (=pro-Saddam) protestors as a political statement.
Sure the good people of Fieldsboro will find some counsel members and a new mayor who do not display their socialistic tendencies — especially when we have our sons and daughter fighting for freedom!
Know that the opposing party will no doubt use the pictures of these loonies as poster children of what happens when you elect liberals! Bet they consider themselves the “Village Czars” when in reality, they have shown the world that they are the “Village Idiots!”
They will never live this down! Not even Clinton could talk them out of this mud hole!
SUPPORT THE TROOPS!
