Those bloggers looking to escape the confines of blogspot might consider hosting at cybercatholics.com which is offering web hosting for only $15.00 a year. The user will be able to use Movable Type or any other web publishing software they want. They are currently not imposing a bandwidth limit but would suggest 100MB of space and 1 Gig of bandwidth monthly.
