Living a life of continual prayer and penance in enclosure separated from the outside world has been a life of great joy for her and her fellow sisters, Mother Mary Leo added.
People often seem surprised at this and can’t quite understand it.
But, she noted, "God is the center of our life here — especially in our cloistered, contemplative life — and He’s the source of all true joy, so we’re bound to be happy people."

I find contemplatives and cloistered religious highly inspiring. They are souls of beauty.
