One thing I love about the blogosphere, especially St. Blogs, is that you get to read the writings of people that normally would not have ever seen expressed. The people who might never have written or had accepted an editorial, an essay, or some other form of writing. Even among the professional writers their blogs are of a different intent or a different style then what you would see in a column or a book. Case in point is Ian A.T. McLean. aka Secret AgentMan in a post in response to the literally hundreds of comments about the teacher fired from a Catholic school. SAM dissects or more accurately demolishes the responses in support of the fired drama teacher. Besides you just got to love any post that includes "Most of her points are already addressed by others in the comments box, but I thought I’d offer my own perspective on things because, well, I’m a blowhard and I have a blog." Wow "I’m a blowhard and I have a blog" could probably be used for the tag line of most of us bloggers. But do read the whole thing for the clarity and strength of his reasoning.
