Additionally Alicia of Frutus Ventris tipped to off to to some letters in reply to the Journal of Medical Ethics original article. The first letter by Dr Mark Whitty is especially interesting being that he says he does not identify with the pro-life movement but proceeds to poke holes in the article.

Actually Dr Whitty is prolife (I know him slightly); he just doesn’t want to be lumped in with Boven’s caricature of the prolife movement. He’s also and not incidentally a very good physician.
