Oh-oh! I’m a hairatic!
Sorry I beat the rest of you to it.
There’ve been periods in the past, around the regency I think, where all the old men had long hair, and they would complain about all the young men these days wearing short hair.
I thought this was so funny, I stole it for my blog.
The person playing the Dr. Preacher was a very very very good actor. Very talented man. That was HAIRLARIUS!
Is this guy for real? About the hair I mean? The bit about Bob Jones makes me smile; I always hear how great Bob Jones was. But he can’t be good enough for this bozo, oh no! if he’s ranting against preachers with phony hairpieces then the whole of TBN/PTL will have to close down.
I have listened to this mp3 and laughed until I was in pain. Are you certain that it is satire and not an actual sermon? I have heard people preach such things and they were totally serious.
This sermon got me cracking like no other. Loved it. And I’m a Pentecostal preacher, haha. Thanks.
Dr Bob Jones Jr (now gone to his eternal reward) did actually wear a wig. Trust me. I went there. I once did his make up for a TV show. There are plenty of other juicy stories about Dr Bob Jr, but charity forbids me to recount them here.
