The above is a picture a blogger at Fighting Irish Thomas took during a candlelight vigil in front of the Aurora Planned Parenthood clinic that tried to sneak into the the area. It almost looks like a concentration camp where they are ready to do some hangings.
They have plenty of coverage of the vigil along with a video of a segment that appeared on a Hannity’s America segment.

Yes, I agree James. To go out there and pray is an incredible experience. I’ve been to two rallies, a city council meeting and the candlelight vigil. (If I lived closer, I’d be there every day!) It’s tremendous to see the support for life. I think there’s a great chance the opening could be stalled and with the protests continuing, who knows? What do you think?
Thanks Jeff … there’s also a video (link under my name) that was put together on the candlelight vigil and local FOX news will be out at the site at 6:45pm tonight 9-10-07 to cover the Jericho March (yeah!) so if you’re in Aurora or nearby areas, be there or be square …
I can’t laugh at their sign–the way things are going, we may be making our own 40 Days For Life signs! Fund-raising takes a backseat to inviting actual people to be a sign at the vigil. Rhode Island’s upcoming campaign could surely use your prayer support! Heeeeelllp.
Any New Englanders looking for a sidewalk on which to pray with us for an end to abortion and the conversion of our hearts? Sept. 26 – Nov 4. Plenty of hours and space available in Providence!!!! Write to us at 40daysri@excite.com. Norwich Ct is also hosting a 40 Days For Life campaign.
For other locations, check out 40daysforlife.com. If you act now, you’ll still have time to buy a very nice sign. 🙂
The pictures really don’t do this place justice. This is the largest Planned Parenthood “clinic” in America. I encourage anyone in the area to stop by and join the residents in prayer, it is quite a moving experience.
I have heard that likely the opening will be delayed, only God knows now whether it will open. Being from Chicago makes it a challenge to get out there, but I think I will be able to make it back once or twice to pray with them. I hope everyone who reads this will keep the city of Aurora in their prayers.
We’re praying daily, James. Everyone who registered for 40 Days for Life was asked by David Bereit to pray for Aurora.
Aurora is becoming a lighthouse of hope for the pro-life advocates. The prayerful life support happening there is amazing. And what is being revealed about Planned Parenthood is even more appalling than usual.
Blessed be God! And Aurora, which sure has lots more than 10 faithful people praying for its most vulnerable little ones!
Indeed Aurora is becoming a lighthouse for hope. It’s very exciting! And do you know that the Communications Director of Pro-Life Action League, Eric Scheidler (the man organizing this whole protest), and the president of NOW both live in Aurora, Illinois. What are the chances? A showdown of good vs. evil if ever there was one. I’ve been out to the site 4 times so far and plan on going out for the final Jericho March Saturday and maybe even get out there today if time allows. If you’re in the area (or even a bit away), do come out. You’ll be happy you did. And if you go, bring a Miraculous Medal or two and plant them somewhere like in the PP grounds (my husband did!). And those of you who suffer, please consider offering some up for this cause. Your powers in suffering are greater than prayer from a whole room full of healthy people. Communion of Saints, pray for us!
