Post Modern Dictionary: “Evolution” – Being forced to say what you already believed based on a gaffe by somebody else.
In other words when it comes to the President I don’t believe in “evolution.”
Also when it comes to the President’s policies I don’t believe in “intelligent design” either.
In fact when it comes to the economy he is also not a job “creationist.”
I can’t even describe his policies as “Punctuated equilibrium“, though perhaps the term “hopeful monster” fits better.

huh? What are you talking about here?

Unemployment is down so what do you say that?

Are you supporting "Etch-a-sketch" Romney? Is it okay how his position on various subjects has changed?
Is unemplyment really down or have people’s unemployment benefits just run out and therefore they are now on welfare????
>Is unemplyment really down or have people’s unemployment benefits just run out and therefore they are now on welfare????
No, unemployment is really down, not by a large amount but each week it gets a touch better. There’s also the issue of how many are “McJobs” which in the short term is fine for easing recession but not practical in the long term.
But hey as long as the GOP keeps howling about gay marriage and contraception whose to notice?
I think the Democrats are finally taking a page from Karl Rove’s tactics and making the opposition’s strong points their weakness. I suspect the Obama campaign is going to force Mitt to go hard right and then contrast that with his centrist (read liberal to you) past and paint him as the flippiest flopper RINO that there ever was. Essentially demoralize enough of the GOP base that they stay home in disgust in November. Mitt’s being Mormon already has this effect for certain parts of the base, I wonder how the Democrats are going to aggravate that?

Mr. Miller: It’s a shame you don’t have ads on here. You’d be making a fortune off good sir salvage.
No sure who posted the “shadowstats” link, wasn’t me but it does bring up a good point about “working poor” that is people who do have jobs or part time jobs but don’t make ends meet and each month slip deeper into debt. That is an economic time bomb.
Mr. O has “evolved” from his previous stance on same sex marriage. By “evolving” he has come up from the slime and muck of the God fearing, gun loving Neanderthals and has joined the enlightened and classy intelligent and caring crowd. Everything with this administration is scripted, even some of us knuckle draggers know that.
> God fearing,
Why are you afraid of your god?
>Why are you afraid of your god?
Those who believe and trust in God are not “afraid” of Him in the way we frequently use the term. In regards to the phrases “God fearing” and “fear of the Lord,” one must understand two kinds of fear. The first, mentioned in Isaiah 2:21, is not what “God fearing” refers to. This word “fear” translates from the Hebrew word *pachad*, which indicates a terrified dread. Those in a state of grace need not fear God in this way. The second kind of fear comes from reverence and awe, as opposed to terror; much the same as how I might fear my father. The Hebrew word for this is *yirah*. This word denotes piety and reverence rather than dread. It is this fear that is referred to in “fear of the Lord” and “God fearing.”
>This word denotes piety and reverence
Ah, I see. It’s interesting the father role that gods play.
We are accountable and there are consequences.
