Ave Maria RadioToday the USCCB released a new video which reiterates Catholic objections to the Obama Administration’s controversial HHS Mandate. Through the stories of three women, the video explains why all Americans should be upset about this threat to our First Amendment liberties. (source)
A pretty decent video with some powerful testimony and I really like that it also emphasized the religious rights of also secular employers.
My question would be is how actually effective is producing a video that is displayed on the USCCB home page? It will be pretty much by preaching (YouTubing?) to the choir. Certainly picked up by some Catholic online media sources and blogs. Yet will anybody outside of these circles ever see this video. Seems unlikely.

Jeff! As a Canadian looking in and with the humidity around me these days, if “I” was to say anything on this topic, “ME”, “ME” and “ME” would most likely be accused of in sight, “I” mean end sight, no, no “I” mean start claiming that an end was in sight. “Whatever!”
Forget “IT” Jeff! You won’t catch U>S 96% gods saying stuff like, you must love your GOD with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your strength and your so called neighbor as yourself. If we did such a thing, Victor’s four per sent age cells of “Mother” Father” “Son” and “Holy Spirit” would have no choice but to yell at all “Priest” Bishops” “Cardinals” and whom ever else that claim to be followers of this so called “Christ”, in other words, they would quietly give the alien gods a year to stop their obamanation, “I” mean abomination and/or suffer the con see, “I” mean the consequences of what the “NINE” per sent age followers of Christ might con her, “I” mean conjure UP and…………………………..
END YA SAY sinner vic?
Go Figure folks! 🙂

Hard to share this kind of thing in non-Catholic circles unless you want to deal with endless rounds of uncharitable arguing and insults. A lot of us active Catholics are getting pretty tired of that kind of thing. In which case, this becomes instruction in apologetics for those who might not be sure of what the Catholic argument against the mandate should be. It is what it is.
I agree with you Jeff unfortunately this seems to be the case with most Cathmedia that we create.
