Here is a link to an very good article found by the Crossed the Tiber blog.
I found this interesting article highlighting the increasing number of young evangelical Christians who are discovering the roots of their faith and converting to Catholicism. The author interviews students from King’s College, a traditional evangelical college in NYC. Once again, the discovery of Church history (before 1517) plays an important part in the conversion process.
There was so much in it that I wanted to quote from, I have up and just encourage you to read it instead. The article does make one mistake in that Patrick Madrid is not a convert, but a cradle Catholic.

Awesome link, that is fantastic news. Just heads-up though, Patrick Madrid is a cradle Catholic; some get confused b/c he contributed in his Surprised by Truth series but there he spoke of an interior conversion.
That’s what happened to me, and in the words of G.K. Chesterton, “At least six times during the last few years, I have found myself in a situation in which I should certainly have become a Catholic, if I had not been restrained from that rash step by the fortunate accident that I was one already.”
I know Prof. Kreeft from BC teaches at King’s College sometimes. I wonder how many of these converts took his class.
I welcome them for selfish reasons: They know the Bible and can discuss it. I know Catholics who left the church because they “discovered” the Bible through the outreach of selectively-quoting evangelicals. Maybe these young converts can help the passive carry-’em-marry-’em-bury-’em Catholics to take an interest in the Word of the Lord.
