In my previous post I was wondering about how Catholic organizations could be promoting Obomacare. This post by Diogenes does not put my mind at rest. In fact it frankly pisses me off. Well maybe they are letting their right hand not know what their left hand is doing.

Why would the bishops need money from the government over and above money for Catholic charities and immigration work? Where is this money spent?

People wonder who is behind the town hall riots when anyone discusses health care reform, or Obamacare – the answer is Conservatives for Patients’ Rights. Conservatives for Patients Rights, or the CPR, is headed by one Rick Scott – who isn’t a doctor – but used to be the CEO of a hospital, and under his watch, his medical administration defrauded Medicare of $1.7 billion through a practice called upcoding, wherein a Medicare patient gets treated, but Medicare is billed for additional tests that never took place. (That’s fraud.) Realistically, Conservatives for Patients Rights and Mr. Scott will never need short term loans, and the only reason why they oppose the bill is that they want the money from the program for themselves.
The above two [repeated] slander posts, are designed to caricature all those concerned about the structured abuse of process that Obamacare embeds into American culture.
They do not help the debate.
No one has organized the opposition to this bill. No one had to. The only riotous behavior has been introduced by union goons called in by democrats. Pelosi and Obama wanted the House Bill (HR 3200) rushed through already. Obama keeps lying about what the bill would do. People have every right to be angry. If liberals want better behavior out of opponents, maybe they shouldn’t silence opponents on college campuses and daily smear opponents as racist, nazi, fascist, homophobic, etc. This has gone on every day for decades. If you want a secure border, you’re called a racist. If you did not plan to vote for Obama, you were called a racist. If you oppose “gay marriage,” you’re called a bigot. Democrats have no right to complain of a lack of civil discourse. They went to the gutter long ago.
