This was an incredible Corpus Christi procession. Fr. Jacob Maurer was involved, as it was right after his first Mass of Thanksgiving. I went to Seattle for Fr. Maurer’s ordination, and had the great privilege of participating as one of the concelebrants at the Mass. I also assisted in the procession with the Blessed Sacrament. It was a powerful witness to the neighborhood, and a very beautiful procession. Fr. Lappe and his parish staff did an outstanding job putting this together.
It was a wonderful procession – the turnout of the faithful was amazing. We (gu)estimate that about 400 parishioners showed up to walk with Christ. I’ve never seen anything like it, though I hope to see more in the future!

Ah yes, the unstoppable Fr Lappe.
They say he can turn bread into God!
After posting my brief comment I realized that the celebrant was none other than one of Seattle’s newest priests, Rev Jacob Mauer!

around 1:04 to 1:10, you can see Filipinos with the San Lorenzo Ruiz banner. we’re all over the place. 😀
Anyway, this is a very wonderful procession and testimony to our faith.
what a beautiful tradition, and amazing
blessing to all who participated and
thoe who were able to watch the celebration!
Great video.
Fr. Lappe is a great priest. Baptized me, gave me my first Holy Communion. We need more priests like him.
Just for the record: How many of Boston’s “royals” Kennedys pro-abortion, commit REGULARLY public scandal-sacrilege with the Eucharist…
under O’Malley GUILTY RESPONSIBILITY, THAT MISLEADS MILLIONS INTO THINKING IS OK?
