Catholic Church Conversation once again has whacked out photos from the diocese that makes Cardinal Mahony look traditional by comparison.
The figure in the center is quite freaky. What denominations does this one represent? Or did the invisible man find religion?
The figure is a good representation of watered-down Christianity. From a distance it almost looks solid, but the close you get the more you can see right through it.

Is that Oscar the grouch in the middle?
They saved a seat for Jesus!
It’s a symbol of the Rapture?
If you had the soundtrack it would sound like this.

Oy! Oy! Oy!
The Elijah chair? And Elijah came back in a fire helmet???
I propose a deal: I shan’t point out that your current President can walk over water and turn bankruptcy into cash by a wave of his hand (at least, if you believe his adulators) – and you don’t believe that all of Austria is like that Diocese-I-do-not-like-to-talk-about … you see, I am from Austria. Even excluding the “Spiritual Dimension” (I strongly suspect that that would be a good caption for the above photo), these people are simply embarassing like heck; or dangerous like it.
Which is the Catholic representative?!
