Excellent article.
In reality, the abortion debate has little, if anything, to do with when life begins, when the fetus becomes a person, a woman’s “right to choose,” a woman having “total control over her body, “reproductive health,” “family planning,” or any of the other issues commonly used as smokescreens.
On an individual level, abortion is typically a selfish act to “erase” a mistake. Unfortunately, therein lies the problem with stopping it.

That was beautiful. A bit OT but not really, can anyone tell me why my Firefox freezes up every single time I try to access Barbara’s blog? It just freezes and won’t let me get in. I can read her through Google Reader but can’t get directly to it no way, no how. I would love to comment to her and let her know what a great job I think she is doing in the trenches. Thanks!
