Uh. Link to first item seems broken…
I went to the No Questions Left Behind blog and noticed an ad for gay teens to meet other hot gays- what’s that all about? It seemed like a reasonable Catholic website and the advice seems appropriate but that ad confused me. I don’t think I would reccomend that site to Christian teens.
George,
Was it a random Google Ad? Those were the only ads I saw for the sight.
The NO QUESTION LEFT BEHIND site told teens that homosexuality is a temptation that can be overcome. That is a very irresponsible answer. Way too simplistic. And dangerous for teens who are struggling with this.
I took down the link
It was a random Google ad. I thought that I had blocked that kind of content out. So, I just got rid of the Google ads completely. I’m sorry about that!

Yes, the answer to the homesexuality question is simplistic, it’s answered by a teen. But it is true that temptation can be overcome. And there is a link at the blog to the Courage youth site and other help lines. I had a priest review all of the teen’s answers before posting.
Just one more comment. Sorry, if I sounded brisk in my last comment. I’m not officially launcing the No Question Left Behind Blog until Monday, so I do appreciate the comments as I’m spending this week working out the bugs. I think I’ll provide links to “help lines” at the end of the teen posts so that readers have a place to go for further investigation (in addition to the Help Lines in the sidebar). If you have a recommendation of a link please let me know here or at nqlb@rocketmail.com. Any other ideas to improve the blog are also appreciated. Thank you all very much!
