Recently SSPX Bishop Williamson went off
on a rant againt The Sound of Music in a letter to SSPX priests
and stated regarding The Sound of Music “the mentality of
sweet compassion for homosexuals and of bitter grief for Princess Di.”
His review would be great parody if it was parody.
Fr. Dwight Longnecker has written a couple
of real parodies which he says are from Richad Williamson film review
archives and they are hillarious.
I must admit that I first thought Father’s
Mary Poppins parody was real since it caught Williamson’s spirit
perfectly.

Honestly, why is Bishop Williamson so obsessed over “The Sound of Music”? He’s spoken about it several times, I’d say that he actually loves to hate it. I wonder how many times he’s seen it?
I just had to go read the original reveiw. I gotta say, that is the scariest thing I have ever read.
I wonder what he would think of “My Fair Lady.” “Eliza’s stay at Wimpole Street suggests the idea that cohabitation is the way to really know and fall in love with someone. The student and teacher relationship is bound to promote inappropriate relations in primary and secondary schools.”
*shakes head* Honestly… that’s just insane.
1997 is “recently”? On what planet?
