Archbishop Niederauer recently said Mass at the infamous Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in San Francisco. There was some chatter about him going to the parish that recently had sex toys bingo, but I thought "Hey a Bishop needs to get out to his parishes."
Though somehow I don’t think it was a good idea to give Communion to homosexual activists dresses up in their "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" habits. Bishops throughout the country have refused Communion to activists wearing a rainbow sash – so I would think a nuns outfit with clown like makeup might be a clue that the person rejects the Church’s teaching on homosexual acts – but maybe that is just me.
Pictures at Roman Catholic blog.
The parish site has 144 pictures of the event, but as Thomistic noted none included pictures of Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence or the other oddly dressed characters being present or receiving Communion.
Please remember to pray for Archbishop Niederauer. Surely teaching the truth on homosexual acts in San Francisco is an uphill battle, but to do it you have to keep from going backwards. Exactly how is anybody going to come to learn the truth of Church teaching if we just go along to get along?

You would think that an Archbishop would have read what our Lord said about millstones.
At first I thought, “this has to be a photoshop prank” but then in reviewing the 144 photos on the parishes website, image number 32 is the only picture that verifies that the SOPI’s were there, in the upper left hand corner.
Jeff:
Teaching the truth in San Francisco is really not that much of an uphill battle. Fr. John Malloy at Saints Peter and Paul did it all the time. There is nothing difficult about it–provided you actually beieve, say, that homosexual activity is sinful. This act by our Archbishop is actually a good thing, in my opinion. What took place on Sunday was the result of 25 years of gay activism in the Archdiocese of San Francisco. Now the rotten fruit is out there for all to see–it was there already, but now everyone can see it. This will be the turning of the tide in San Francisco.
Perhaps if it had been a sung Mass in the extraordinary form of the Roman Rite, all those blasphemous people would have stayed away.
Or at least, they wouldn’t have dared to approach the altar and kneel to receive the Body of Christ on their tongues.
I pray that you are right, Gibbons. I thought this had to be some kind of prank or satire at first. Those photos are unbelievable.
I’m afraid of what Mark Shea might do when he finds out George Bush appointed Harriet Myers Archbishop of San Francisco.
If I run and tackle them so they don’t receive communion, would that consider sinful?
If I make a scene denouncing these reprobates so the celebrant will not give communion in fear of scandal, would that be sinful?
If the answers are “no” I’ll definetely do one of the above if I were there.
It seems that some Q&A with the Archibishop is in order.
Where, oh where, is Sambi?????????
Just when I think it can’t get any worse… it does.
Never mind just the pics. – SEE THE VIDEO!

Look at last part of the video-as they are standing outside…someone in chasuable (I don’t know who that it–another priest?) greets/kisses another man on the lips.

Did anyone notice something weird when looking at the pictures on the parish website? There seem to be almost no children at this Mass at all. (Even the altar servers were older folk.) But, maybe that’s a good thing.
Just when I think I’m desensitized to these things…something more outrageous then I could ever imagine occurs.
I say out loud what happened, and I don’t even believe my own words.
First, we got rid of excommunication and now we can not even fire these reprobates.
San Francisco Archbishop Responds After Caught on Video Giving Communion to Gay Men Dressed as Nuns

“At Most Holy Redeemer Church Oct. 7, I noticed no protest, no demonstration, no disruption of the Sunday Eucharist,” said Archbishop Nierderauer. “The congregation was devout and the liturgy was celebrated with reverence. Toward the end of the Communion line two strangely dressed persons came to receive Communion. I did not see any mock religious garb. As I recall, one of them wore a large flowered hat or garland.”
So the archbishop noticed nothing out of the ordinary at that parish? Well, it is San Francisco, after all, and this is the same archbishop who said he was clueless about Nancy Pelosi’s abortion views.
I miss the inquisition.
So the Bishop of Gallup, NM sees strange creatures that aren’t there, and the Archbishop of San Francisco can’t see strange creatures that are there. (sigh)
I can’t believe what I’m seeing. No wonder I have such a hard time defending my faith to non-catholics ! Why haven’t these photos been turned over to the Vatican? What do we do just post them on a blog so we can all look at them and comment but do nothing? What are we going to say to our Lord when we stand before him? God have mercy on everyone that does nothing !
There are no “children” because there are no “breeders!”
I can see the “sister’s” rainbow headdress in images 32, 111, and 112 os the parish’s photos. Someone was certainly careful with the photography.

I agree…totally. So, we all pass around the info among ourselves and not on to the proper authorities in Rome? I pray that someone is collecting all of the info, compiling it, and burning it to a CD to send to the Pope. It should go directly to him and no one else now–since Levada was also Archbishop when the SPI’s were having their “BINGO” games at MHR.
