You put your right foot out,
You tap your right foot then.
You put your luggage forward,
And you shake it all about.
You do the Hanky-Panky,
And you hook up around.
That’s what it’s all about!
Senator Craig wanted to cop a feel he didn’t mean to feel a cop.
Senator Craig also flubbed his recent line and should have said "I am not a gay American" to reverse Gov. McGreevey’s precedence.
Now I realize the whole subject is in poor taste but for one thing the media seems to be concentrating on Craig’s hypocrisy and has hardly commented on the homosexual hook up culture. When Ft. Lauderdale Mayor Jim Naugle took up the cause against public bathrooms being used for homosexual sex the media roundly attacked him. Yet this is obviously a national phenomenon that has a well established code to conduct these hook ups to the point of airport police sitting in stalls to stop this behavior, yet this has gotten just about zero coverage.

In the early ’90s, the State of Michigan actually closed a rest area because it had turned into a hook-up place, including sex on the premises. So it’s not a new phenomenon.
I think it would probably be better phrased “I am a _not_ gay American. “
that “cop a feel” and “feel a cop” thing was really clever. nice job. you keep me laughing.
One of the men’s restrooms on my university campus is now locked after dark, because campus security found out that there were hook-ups happening there, mostly involving non-students. There was an article in the campus newspaper about it, and I was very disturbed–I had never heard anything about this kind of behavior before. It’s scary.
The whole subject is just gross. And now everyone is talking about it, on the TV and radio. . . our poor children.
16 years ago I went to the city park with my 2 year old. I saw two men go in the bushes and heard them having sex. It was very upsetting and disturbing.
Parents, protect your children!
I’m surprised that there isn’t serious effort in the gay rights movement to put an end to anonymous sex in public places. If I were gay, I wouldn’t want people thinking that the gays in general are incapable of acting like civilized human beings.
But how naive of me: just look at gay pride parades. It is clear that there is a large contingent that don’t want to behave in a civilized manner and a majority that support them. And they can usually get away with it just by screaming “bigot” and “homophobe” whenever anything speaks out.
While you appear to have accepted the public accusation as fact, as a resident for whom Larry Craig is my senator, do I prefer a man who knows, votes, and fights for what is right, and who may or may not struggle with personal weakness, or do I prefer, as do so many, someone who calls what is evil good, and fights for what is wrong?
Jesus may have had harsh words for the hypocrisy of the Pharisees, but he did say to do as they say, not as they do. We on the other hand, do not know if a person like my senator is more like the tax collector who does not raise his eyes to God, but strikes his breast and begs the Lord’s help.
His career is over, we have witnessed his public execution. It does seem odd that the press which so forcefully promotes that for which he is accused, makes such a self-righteous effort to take him down. do neither what they do or what they say…
While you appear to have accepted the public accusation as fact
It isn’t just an accusation. He pled guilty. With premeditation.
To be sung in falsetto, with ukelele accompaniment, if possible
Tap toes in the toilet,
Im a boy, let
Me solicit sex in mens rooms
Where the thrill looms
For me.
We tapped toes, let my hand fall
neath the stall wall,
so that youd know what my tap meant.
Its entrapment
To me.
Knee deep in perverted sex
Far from my wife and your ex
If we tap toes in the bathroom, in the airport,
Will they pardon me
Or send me back to Boise, I. D.?

Good point, Mark. Like baby-killing and pornography, people are shocked by homosexual sex when it doesn’t take place according to “acceptable norms”. For the media to scram “Scandal!” at anyone anymore is getting absurd.
