Confessions of a Crazy Schoolmarm tagged me with the book Meme. I think I did this once before a year ago, but I do love books.
How many books do you own? I went to public school and so don’t do higher math.
Book(s) I am reading now: Well since I just finished the Pope’s book – the following books are back on track.

- Mysterious Island (via my iPod) by Jules Verne
- Shadow & Claw: The First Half of ‘The Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolfe
Books I’ve read recently: I wrote a program that I use to track my book reading and books to get that is still under development, but it does make it easy for me to answer this question for the last two months from then to now.

There is a sequel to Scarlet Pimpernel, though I haven’t read it . . .yet.
When will your booktracking program be done? Have you checked out Bookmooch?
Great list!
Jeff,
It’s a good thing you’re far away and married. I’ve thought for quite a while that the only man I’d even consider marrying was one who shared my enthusiasm for God and my Church. Here you are, and your favorite books are my favorite books! Declare and A Cantle for Liebowitz, for Pete’s sake. A killer sense of humor too. Do you have a clone somewhere?
I always enjoy when someone does one of these book memes and tells the truth. Some folk will only admit to being in the middle of reading the Summa. (Never mind that they seem to have been in the middle of it for the past decade.) I’ve long suspected that a long and varied book list is the sign of a well-rounded personality.
May I ask what is so engaging about the books of Scott Hahn? Personally, I find him rather superficial.
The Scarlet Pimpernel has more than one sequel. They’re all good, too, but hard to find except through used and “antique” booksellers.
I don’t think Scott Hahn is at all superficial, but he’s uncomfortably enthusiastic (which means filled with God…). I think it’s a Protestant leftover/gift that Catholics are unused to, still. A little more enthusiasm wouldn’t hurt us, but even today i have difficulty LISTENING to it. Reading is less disturbing.
Jeff, Asimov, yes!! But no Bradbury?
