Vatican, Apr. 25, 2007 (CWNews.com) – Pope Benedict XVI (bio – news) called attention to the UN-designated "Road Safety Week" during his regular weekly audience on April 25.
At the conclusion of his audience the Pope said that a "decent sense of responsibility for one’s neighbors" should encourage careful driving and respect for the rules of the road. He said that it is particularly important for young people to absorb this message.
This was obviously in response to this incident.

Ve knew Ve shouldn’t have taken the St. Christopher Medal out of the Popemobile!
Wasn’t this picture one of your “Write a caption” selections?
It appears that the Holy Father, for the first time in the history of the Curt Jester’s career, has provided such a caption!
The Holy Father also acknowledged Administrative Professionals Day in the United States, Children’s Day in Iceland, and Remembrance Day in Papua New Guinea, extending his apostolic blessing to them all!
