Do they have these things in the Norst East? If so I would be on the first bus there!
I had the privilege of serving at the Eucharistic Congress, and while we lay servers didn’t do much (apart from, in my case, representing Belmont Abbey College), it was an excellent experience. As we processed through the streets, the whole section of the city grew quiet, save for the sounds of the wind and our walking. The song “Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silent” came to mind and I got a sort of a chill that didn’t come from the fact that it was cold and drizzling (which meant it was a very good day to be wearing a cassock and the dreadfully heavy surplice that I borrowed from the Abbey Basilica).
