Reading the latest This Rock magazine on the many martyrs for the faith in the last hundred years I came across a Blessed whose name made me chuckle. This man was a catechist in Papua New Guinea and was martyred by the Japanese for speaking out against polygamy.
His name – Peter To Rot. Which seems to me a name more for the modern catechist than a man who died for his Catholic faith. To Rot is funny enough, but "Peter To Rot" reminds me of the articles and posts of disappointment when Pope Benedict XVI was elected.
More on Blessed Peter To Rot here.

Polygamy can go to far, but a clean conscious and a healthy soul can allow all of us to get along easily and love one another.
Peter To Rot (“Peter Toe Rote”)
Gee, I thought it was a joke along the lines of that hopsital called “Peter Bent.”
A guy gets in a cab, says, “Take me to the hospital, quick!”
Cabbie asks, “Peter Bent?”
Passenger groans, “Bent? It’s dang near broke off!”
