Dawn Eden previously reported
about the certified physician’s assistant working for Planned Parenthood
who posted on his myspace site that he found that patient care was not a concern
where he worked, but mass volume was the highest priority. Now this is a person
that seems to have had no problem with abortion, just the way the patients were
treated. He later apparently left a comment on Dawn’s blog.
He writes:
"thanks to this site I lost my job at planned parenthood orange
county and san bernardino county. apparently an affliate who stands up for women’s
reproductive rights don’t also believe in an individuals right to freedom of
speech. the best they cud do was to say that the reason for termination was
I made negative and inappropriate comments about the organization that was accessible
to the public. never thought that was grounds for termination. now i’m stuck
with a mortgage i’m scrambling to find a way to pay. nice how things turned
out…."
Well I guess he should consider himself lucky. Most people terminated
by Planned Parenthood are not alive to write about it later.

Yes, I remember the original post on Dawn’s site.
At the very least, you can say people who are that cynical are cool-headed enough to make critical statements like the one he did about the suppression of free speech on his personal web site.
If they do not care about the right to life, you might as well chuck all the others out the window too.
I hope he may one day come to the understanding that being terminated from the murder shop is a real grace. Some people work at PP until the day they die and never have the saving revelation about what it is they do there.
Maybe he should have thought about that before he posted his opinions about his employer on the web. Tsk… tsk…
the best they cud do was to say
What exactly are the qualifications necessary to become a “certified physician’s assistant”?
Yeah, I’d probably get fired, too, if I dumped on my company.
But the fact that he confirmed what pro-lifers have been saying probably didn’t help him, either.
Apparently this guy never heard the term Dooced!
1. God blessed him by removing him from that den of evil.
2. Let’s pray he gets a real job providing actual patient care.
To BillyHW, physician assistants–P.A.s–actually get a significant a mount of schooling, something to the effect of 3 or 4 years of graduate school. They don’t have the same scale of academic work or post-graduate training that doctors have, but they are qualified to offer perscriptions so long as doctors review them, so he’s probably pretty darned well qualified.
I gotta say that, while I find his kvetching about challenges to his right to speech a little silly since he participated in taking away people’s right to life, I don’t think the kind of cynicism I’m seeing in this post is all that constructive, nor is it charitable. So far as I’m concerned, he deserves prayers and encouragement (a la Christina), not creeping cynicism and barbs. He’s been kicked out of the herd of goats, let’s at least do our best to show him that being in a fold of sheep is a lot more pleasant.
Let’s pray that he find a good job in another field and uses his skills for the protection of life, not its termination.
