Kneeling and mortal sin?!? Now that’s a crucial topic! One I’m sure the LAT is an expert on.

Dear Robin, my husband and I are the ones you Bishop Brown forced to sign a secret oath. Well the kung fun move was this. Bishop brown after the first meeting my husband and I had with him and his priest secretary Fr. Michael McKierran at the Marywood Center diocean chancery offices , did not go the way Bishop Tod Brown wanted, so he begged my husband and I for another meeting in fact he said there will be another meeting. Sure enough during Holy week 2002 he got what he wanted another meeting , but he had his cannon lawyer there ,Fr. Douglas Cook. His secretary Fr. Michael McKierran was not invited to the second meeting , probably because of his sudden expression of attack towards me. That is another story. All this time keep in mind we were not allowed proper representation of our own cannon lawyer. So the second meeting happened and didn’t go the way Bishop Tod Brown wanted, so he begged and said we will have another meeting. Well this third meeting, our civil attorney who was not allowed to attend the previous two meetings. By the way our , civil attorneys were just for protection against lawsuit, they are very good catholic men who at the time of this all didn’t fully understand the depths of the corruption in the church.Ok that bieng said our attorneys said no to Bishop Brown, you Bishop Brown are going to meeet in our office. Well , Bishop Brown , being the person who doesn’t like being told what to do. I know that because in our previous two meetings with Bishop Brown he pounded the table we were sitting at with his fist saying “Michael and Susan , I don’t like being told what to do”! As you can figure out , Bishop Brown didn’t show up to this third meeting which he himself called for, but he sent his cannon lawyer Fr. Douglas Cook to do his “dirty work”. Now to The secrert oath, well Fr. douglas Cook arrived at our attorneys office, Righta way Fr. Douglas Cook says “Bishop Brown demands we ,my husband and I and even our attorneys sign a secret oath to keep secret disscusions of the meeting.” “Fr. Douglas Cook said Bishop Brown says if you want to talk about the situation about your cousin the priest you first must sign the secret oath promising not talk to anyone about the discussions of the meeting.” I said “no way ! am I going to sign such an oath.” Our attorney told Fr. Cook to step outside the office, so they can talk to their clients. Our attorneys said ” just sign it so we could hear what “they” have to say.” I said “no way! it is a trick, We had two other meetings with the dear Bishop and he didn’t tell us to sign a secret oath.” The attorney pleaded “just sign it , it won’t be valid in any court of law.” After much pleadding we did sign, only to hear what Bishop Brown was going to say. The Secret Oath we signed was that we had to keep secret the evil “lifestyle” that Bishop Tod Brown was allowing and going to allow of my husbands cousin the priest to have. We were very upset by that, even our attorneys went balistic. I believe finnally our attorneys realized how corrupted the hierarchy was in the diocese of Orange. So after we signed the oath which was scribbled on a yellow piece of tablet paper, Fr. Douglas Cook said thank you told us what we signed ( revealing the secret oath) then said my job is done here , now you can talk if you want.I was so ps off that I didn’t hardly say a word , How ever our attorneys got into with him. The meeting was several hours long. After that we
Got a private investigator through a friend, to do some work for us , and with much prayer and spiritual direction from a priest , we went “public” in The Los Angeles Lay Catholic Mission” the July 2002 issue called “All that Perception Stuff” by Robert Krumpel. I want you to all know , everything we did was out of love for Jesus Christ and his Church, we love my husbands cousin and Bishop Tod Brown we want their conversion back to the Faith!
