One of the early RCIA convert blogs was Christopher Cuddy’s A Directed Path. He is a convert from Evangelicalism that ended up going to live with Scott Hahn and attending the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He was recently a host on an excellent episode of Catholic Answers called The Death of Death [mp3] and I today discovered that he was back blogging.
So to all the new converts entering the Church this Easter – Welcome Home!!!

Thanks for the post, Jeff.
I just made a post on my blog that includes a special image for all of those new Catholics. If you are a new Catholic, please visit my blog and feel free to display the image on your blog and/or website.

At nearly 62 and a computerphobe, Mum never really appreciated the ‘depth’ and richness that could come from internet interaction, but over the last couple of years she’s begun to realise that internet users/bloggers aren’t necessarily a bunch of loons (ahem!) with an ulterior motive for grooming children (there’s always so much internet bad-press in the news).
Thanks for the mention Jeff, I know that Mum is delighted and deeply touched that so many people around the world are praying for her. In turn she has asked me to tell all who have been (rooting for her conversion) praying for her… that she offers daily prayer for you all.
It’s a beautiful thing that though she was baptised Methodist, she used to visit Sacred Heart Church when she was a girl, whenever her italian Catholic school friends were Confirmed …now, all these many years later, this is the exact same Church that she will make her Profession of Faith when she is Confirmed on Holy Saturday! It took a while didn’t it, but my, God is Good!
God Bless!
