By the way, I see you were stationed at Pax River. So was I. Marine Corps Security Forces Company (guarded VQ-4) 1992-1995. Was a member of St. Michael’s down in Ridge. Was also the Deputy Grand Knight of the K of C at St Michael’s. When were you at Pax?

He’s a Marine, presently in Iraq, and expecting to be home sometime in April. Our relatives were taken aback that he didn’t want to go to college before enlisting (he’s very scholarly), but I’m sure that he’s right. When he’s fifty and has a mortgage and a lot of children, and all his contemporaries are having mid-life crises, he’ll be able to remember that at twenty he fired a great big gun for a living, and be content.
