What does he mean by Ascending and Descending love?
L., I take it that descending love is that of a Christian as servant, in imitation of Christ’s descent to be among us, like in Philippians 2:6-10. And ascending love is us rising up to God.

I’m working my way through it slowly (I’m about 1/2 done now), but it’s tough going. I read everything twice to be sure I understand it, and highlight like a crazy woman.
