This year I decided to roll my own Advent Wreath graphic instead of just using the normal animated gif that I used previously (same as the one on Amy Welborn‘s blog). If you would like it for your own blog you can download the graphic to post on your own server space or you can use the html code below which uses some homepage server space that won’t effect the bandwidth for my blog. I will replaced the graphic each week so that it correctly shows the number of candles that should be lit.

Are you just planning to upload the new graphic to the same URL so that it will load automatically on everyone’s pages?
I will change the graphic to one with the same name each week, so the user’s will not need to do anything.
The one Amy “stole” off me, or would have done if I’d had my own site. Actually, I modified the candles to allow for equal burn rates and sizes (the 4th Sunday one is therefore the smallest; I hate waste); added some more greenery to cover the base a bit better; and even added a 5th white candle for Christmas!!!
Still, the one you have now is er impressive!!!
You’ve also changed your colour scheme. I love the purple, but it does make the text a bit hard for my failing eyes to read…
