Finally after a long hiatus Mark Shea is back in true form and blogging. If only he didn’t have to do things like write books and take care of his family instead of satisfying us his faithful readers. But he seems to have his prior ties back in order now.
Also back from a shorter hiatus is blogger Lane Core, Jr one of the first blogs I started reading (found on Mark’s blogroll)
As for me I am coming back from a bout with the flu which is why I having posted much in the last couple of days. I would say I had been feeling under the weather, but then again we are all under the weather. Aren’t only astronauts the only ones who can feel above the weather?
I would also like to really thank those who have contributed to any charity for the Hurricane Katrina relief regardless of method and especially those of my readers who contributed. Truth laid bear reports that $1,230,772 was logged in via the honor system as donated via the 1823 participating blogs. Of course Catholic Charities and others still need money and the Knights of Columbus will match any donations made to the Katrina Relief Fund over the next 60 days.
