- Crucifix in a jar of urine – Art to be protected.
- Elephant dung on a picture of the Madonna – Art to be protected.
- Accidental urine over spray on a Koran via an air duct – High crime to be denounced by the major media.
The soldier who did this and who was subsequently relieved and sent to guard the gate instead should have claimed he was a performance artist.

I think the whole issure here is no one is afraid of a Christian. We know what the Moslems can do when provoked. Christian’s tend to do a lot of finger waving and prayers. We also tend to not stand up for our faith when it has been slammed by artists, news media, or late night talk shows. We always seem to be the brunt of some joke. It’s because they know they won’t be held accountable for their slams. (free speech and all that)
The Devil know who his enemy is.
The way that the press keeps going on about this makes me want to get a copy Koran and have a tinkle. The Lord knows that western effette intellectuals rain on Christians daily, this is just more of the same.
“Finger waving” and prayers and . . . oh yeah, the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, the Salem Witch Trials . . .
Get over yourselves.
Hey Ray? and how long ago was that? I’m talking with in the last 100 years. Some how we became more civilized but they didn’t huh?. How about you get over your self? (lame)
“The soldier who did this and who was subsequently relieved”
Haha, good one.
Aren’t there are rules for handling Holy Books? Certainly you don’t put the Bible on the floor, leave it on the kitchen table to get dirty, or whatever. I would imagine that the Quran is no different. My question is, why was it somewhere that it could be defiled? Certainly there must be some way to put it somewhere, or cover it with their blanket, whatever… there have been prisons forever and Holy books have been protected in worse conditions than these ‘pampered’ (loose term) folk, so… what’s really the scoop?
This whole thing smells hugely. No pun intended.
Ray: Ever wonder why it was called the “Spanish” inquisition? Maybe because it was run by a Spanish King?
As for the Crusades… Islam took more than half of Christiandom’s land. If Europe had not counter-attacked, we might all be under Shariah law now.
And the Salem Witch Trials? Were Catholics involved with that?
So let me get this straight, Ray. Are you suggesting that since others have committed evil under their declaration of Christianity (still goes on by the way — i.e. parents killing their children because they believe Jesus told them to), you think it’s acceptable for Muslims to commit evil in the name of Allah?
How far is this going to go? Should we, in order to safeguard the freedom of our prisoners to practice their faith, actually provide them with “infidel” Christians so they can saw their heads off. Why do the terrorists hate us? How’s about, who cares?
