The article reads “with fellow canonist Michael Trueman”. You wrote “Michael Moore”. Other things on your mind?
Freudian slip?
Michael Moore, bringing bad name to all Michaels. And Moores.
Michael Moore writing a book on Canon Law could only be a parody.
I think Jeff is just ribbing me in good fun, for two reasons:
1) One of my friends who helped me with the promotion of the book is Michael Mohr (pronounced the same as Moore) who happens to be the former Republican mayor pro-tem of Colorado Springs;
2) Although most people who have come across my writing over the past year assume I’m a Republican sympathizer (as a Canadian, I cannot register or vote) because I argued passionately for supporting President Bush and the GOP, I’m actually an outspoken Casey Democrat.
Nevertheless, I put a lid on it over the past year because abortion is such a horrible practice, and so-called homosexual marriage is such a blow to social stability, that I in no way wanted to be associated with the Abortion Party’s perverse parody of the once-great Democratic Party.
But fear not, Casey-Miller Democrats will rise again as voters continue to abort the political aspirations of Abortion–Hollywood–New-England-Euro-Weenie–Democrats.
Boy, what an error to make – though I have now fixed it. Sorry Pete. The gravitational pull of Michael Moore must have pulled a few neurons loose causing this error.
