Seminarian Dennis has one of the better personally opposed parallels that I have seen. It doesn’t take much to show the intellectual vapidness of this argument, but this one makes the point very clear.
Personally opposed to killing jews

Yes, I agree. John Kerry says he is “personally opposed” to abortion. Yet he’s pro-choice so he can win over america’s pro-choice vote. So Kerry is forsaking his Faith for the power of being
persident. Dosen’t sound good at all! Abortion is evil, and backing it is evil, but if you’re going to back evil only in order to gain power, that makes you evil too. Like John Kerry is.
If some group wanted to try and make it legal to kill children under 3 years old, would anyone try and claim that Catholics were “trying to impose their religion” on others by trying to put a stop to it? No of course not. That would a be ridiculous thing to say.
The illogic of the the pro-choicers is astounding.
Dont be so sure. There are already cases making thier way through that make a man able to refuse to pay child support and the euthanasia decisions are in the hand of hospital ethics committies across the country. They are already demanding the freedom to kill “defective” children. They will say we are putting our religon on them. They say it now for PBAs they’ll do it soon with 3 year olds.
John Kerry is a fool, and should be ex-communicated for his support for abortion from conception through delivery.
