LEEDS, Ala. — One local man tried to send a message to kids on their way back to school.
The owner of a Leeds barbershop posted himself on a cross in front of his business Monday morning.
Onlookers said he wanted kids to think about religion on their first day of school.
Police quickly asked him to get down because he didn’t have a permit.

It would be interesting to see him apply for a permit….wonder if crucifying oneself is covered by the city statutes.
Surely there are better ways to witness faith to children….
