MT-Blacklist v2.0e for Movable Type 3.0 has now been released. The improvements for comment/trackback spam filtering in MT 3.0 are excellent. It now forces comment moderation on comments made to old posts so they have to be approved first before they are seen. This is excellent because most comment spam show up on older posts. So if you using MT and haven’t upgraded to 3.01D, now there is no reason not to. Jay Allen calls this an emergency release, but I had no problem installing it and it has already blocked 30 plus comment spams.
