I wouldn’t waste my time – when I went to that site, it jumped to the infamous passport site. Sorry, I won’t give my info to passport.
The less business I can give to Microsoft I will. Though I love Windows, their products are so integrated that many times it is a pain. For Example to install certain server 2000 upgrades you have to have Internet Explorer 4.0 on the Windows 98 client machine. What does Internet Explorer have to do with server security? Oh well I wish I knew more about Linux!
I am with Josh–almost everything I do on computers at home or at work involves a microsoft product.
Server hell=unannounced upgrades by your provider to Windows 2003. Why? Oodles and oodles of broken code. We (the marital we, not the royal we) have some websites which are commercial, and aforesaid upgrade caused us to lose about 3 weeks worth of income, owing to the combo of our provider’s shortsightedness (“what? Bugs in software? Get outta here!”), and Microsoft’s less than sparkling technical brilliance.
Truly, they are getting to be a real pain in the neck. So I wish they would stick to one thing or two and get them right, rather than trying to own the universe.
