It would have been a more pleasant way to get to Heaven than most of them faced in the intervening years. I just run across them on my web travel, but I bow to the master seeker of odd bits the Saintly Salmagundi.
If that was really the case, wouldn’t the apostles have crawled into that basket hanging beneath our Lord as he ascended? It would have been a more pleasant way to get to Heaven than most of them faced in the intervening years.
