As a beginning of a new church year starts I have created a new blog template with colors to reflect the liturgical season. My original template was kludged together from a blogstyle template and then modified. This time with the knowledge I gained from doing Movable Type templates for others I was able to build this one up totally myself.
Due to Kat Lively mentioning on her blog that Blessed Miguel Pro was called “God’s Jester” I figured that I would designate a Blog Patron Saint to intercede for myself and those who read my blog.
Only 25 more praying days till Christmas so I hope to prepare myself for this wondrous celebration of the incarnation.

I can’t read it Jeff. The post body and the right margin overlap, and there’s no left margin at all. The only reason I could leave this comment is because the “C” was barely showing.
OK, this is bad. I start ought advent COVETING your advent candle graphic……..
Thanks, Jeff.
Ought? I meant out! I think I’m regressing to Old English or something.
I really like the new layout Jeff! It’s easier on the eyes in my opinion. I suspect you got your advent candle from the same place I did. Go go Google image seach and type in “advent wreath”. Poke around a little and there it is.
I really like this better.
Nice! It confused me momentarily, but nice. There’s something weird about the horizontal scroll in the comment window, though. I have to scroll to the right in order to see all of whatever people are saying.
I too like the new layout, and I too have trouble with the comments not fitting. I love the idea of a patron saint of a blog—this could become a trend.
Comments now fixed. Changed the comment area to be the same width as the popup window.
Thanks.
I’m back reading after a few days sick hiatus, and found the new template to be just wonderful! love it!
