Just for the record I am not against same sex unions. If a group of people who happen to be either all male or all female want to start a union for safer working conditions or better pay and benefits – no problem. If a group of men’s room attendants wanted to start a union, let them. I just don’t see what the big deal is with same sex unions.

I will raise you one: I believe that some unions must be same sex unions: Firefighters, Police officers, heavy construction workers, etc. I am not saying that they should not have a Ladies’ Auxiliary so the wives can organize the picnic and charity drive, though. I think that is a good idea, as well.
