That reminds me of our Mother’s Day Rose Sale. Sitting in the vestibule at Church surrounded by buckets of roses some wise guy says, “MMM, it smells like Wenban’s.” (the local funeral home.) 🙂
Mencken also said that an idealist is one who thinks that because a rose smells better than a cabbage, a rose will also make a better soup.
