On Nov. 21, Bradley R. Schad, 40, Parkville, admitted in court that he tried
to rob Platte Valley Bank, 6130 N.W. Barry Road, Kansas City-North, March 16,
2000. U.S. Attorney Todd Graves said Schad, with one hand menacingly in his pocket,
presented a note to a bank teller.
The teller read, “Give me ‘the your’ money, do it fast and ‘quit.'”
Well now he is going to be in in prison for a spell. I remember the Woody
Allen movie "Take the money and Run" where he had misspelled gun as gub in
the bank robbery note and he and the bank teller argued endlessly
over the spelling.
