Amid the uproar over a major decision on abortion Wednesday
by the Supreme Court, many people didn’t realize that in another case the court
dealt a deadly blow to the abortion industry when it let stand laws against
so-called "drive-through abortions."
The laws pass legal muster, the high court in effect ruled
with its refusal to hear an appeal by the abortion industry seeking to overturn
lower court rulings against an Indiana law severely restricting the right to
abortion on demand without informed consent – a provision that is the abortionist’s
worst nightmare.
…Not surprisingly, the abortion industry’s supporters fought
the law and sought the Supreme Court’s approval to block its enforcement. Kate
Michelman of National Abortion and Reproductive [sic] Rights Action League condemned
the requirement that women be fully informed about abortion.
"Here again, we see that the noisy, so-called ‘pro-choice’
folks are not really for choice, they’re for abortion," Connor said.

If this wasn’t such a serious matter it would be comical to see
all of these so-called woman’s advocate groups do everything they can to make
sure women are ignorant as they can be about abortion. They are scared to death
of informed consent laws since they know it will lead to a decline in abortion.
If a drug company fought informed consent on any of the products they offered,
you know that there would be a media outcry against these capitalistic thoughtless
companies. Previously they had also fought the government giving vitamins and
care to poor pregnant women. They have transformed "Truth shall set you
free" to "Abortion shall set you free." We laugh about the attitude
of keeping women ignorant, barefoot, and pregnant. They have only modified it
to ignorant, with shoes, and not pregnant. Under truth in advertising laws they
should have to identify themselves as Pro-ignorant choicers.

Thank you.
And as part of “informed consent” – beyond the
fetal development information, breast cancer
link information and so forth, a woman has the
right to know that her child’s remains might be
sold to a drug company or research center. Pehaps
the consent form should include a query as to
whether there is a preference for sending the
carcass FedEX or UPS.
