former Colorado senator whose presidential campaign imploded in a sex scandal 15
years ago, is seriously considering a new bid for the White House.
A sex scandal derailed Gary Hart�s 1988 bid for the U.S.
presidency. Saying the nation needs leadership and politics is starving for
ideas, Hart, 65, said he has begun taking seriously the urging of friends that

Gary Hart is probably thinking that he had to stop his presidential bid
because of a sex scandal and then Bill Clinton served two terms as President and
now demo-dinosaurs such as Mondale and Lautenberg careers have been
resuscitated, why shouldn’t he be in the running again?
